     There has been a long tradition of the Yaple family providing professional service and quality vacuum cleaners at reasonable prices.  This began more than 50 years ago when Doug's father, Wellie Yaple Sr., started selling vacuum cleaners for the Hoover Company door-to-door.  In 1957 Wellie Sr. opened Yaple's Vacuum at 2311 French St. Erie, PA.  Doug opened his own business in 1989 with a store at 833 East Avenue in Erie, Pa.  In 2002, Doug relocated to a larger location at 3341 Buffalo Road in Weslyville, PA. (Weslyville, PA. is located on Route 20 (Buffalo Rd.) between Erie and Harborcreek).
